Cooper loves going for walks and car rides, playing in the yard, laying in the sun, watching for squirrels and bunnies.
He loves to be with his people and follows them everywhere, takes his naps near them.
He gets along great with other dogs
He is always checking in with his people often with cuddles, hugs and big kisses.
He’s extremely loyal once a relationship has been developed.
He’s very treat motivated and a quick learner
He feels comfortable in his pen.
He knows several commands: sit, stay, wait, leave it, go to your kennel.

Things he’s still working on:
Occasionally jumping on people when he greets them and he’s excited.
Pulling when he goes for walks. Has been doing better when person establishes their leadership by walking him back and forth, showing him that they will lead the walk and Cooper doesn’t have to.  A gentle leader also helps a ton.
He’s cautious of strangers.
He’s afraid of certain men when first meeting them, but not all.
He has some boundary issues, especially when it comes to kids.
He’s a counter surfer.
He’s a chewer, like most labs. Loves stuffed marrow bones, pigs ears, antlers, etc.
